Kinnar Ka Ki by Shreya Basu


Kinnar is the Sanskrit word for transwoman and the title Kinnar Ka Ki is a play on the significance of their transformation.


…is a culmination of their journey from introspection to acceptance to cross dressing to transwomen.


Neither a ‘how’, nor a ‘why’ – this investigation is purely to instigate the idea of embracing all lives as equal, to look beyond the social gender identities and to see the community for who they really are – independent and aspirational transwomen of our society.
