"All of these were part of my final graduation project in college. The project was about documenting the lives of tribal women in India and how migration has affected their lives and what they hold close to them. During my research I met and spoke to three women from three different tribes. One of them was a woman who belonged to the Oraon tribe from Chhatisgarh and who had relocated to Goa. The four illustrations are of objects that were of importance to her and something she has carried through her transition from Chhatisgarh to Goa"
